Head of the Salafist Nour Party Younes Makhioun described the meeting held between President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and leaders of political parties as frank, transparent and positive.
During the meeting, Sisi ordered the army to fight those who carry weapons against the Egyptian people, Makhioun said.
Makhioun hailed Sisi's request from Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim to launch an investigation into the killing of female activist Shaimaa el Sabbagh and bring the perpetrator to justice.
He welcomed Sisi's decision to allocate EGP 10 billion for developing the Sinai Peninsula.
