The number of Egyptian pilgrims who passed away rose to seven, following the deaths of an aged man and a woman, chairman of the Egyptian Hajj mission Sayed Maher told MENA on Thursday.

They were buried in Mecca following obtaining needed approvals from their families.

Meanwhile, the Hajj mission said that no Egyptian casualties were among the victims of the fire that broke out in a hotel in the holy city of Mecca today.
