Members of Nusra Front

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Friday that fighters of al Nusra Front managed to control Jisr al Shughur hospital in Idlib governorate in Syria after several weeks of clashes with forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar al Assad.

Dozens of the Syrian troops were able to to escape from the hospital, where they had been besieged for weeks, while others breathed their last there, Sky New TV channel said.

It added that al Nusra Front militants captured also a number of troops, while the fate of others is still unknown.
