Nuweiba customs authorities foiled an attempt to smuggle a big quantity of heroin drug, a source at the customs said.

The seized drugs worth 16.4 million pounds, he added.

The drugs were found in a Jordanian car on board of a ferry coming from Aqaba port, the source said.
