The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned the assassination of Egypt's Prosecutor General Hesham Barakat earlier on Monday.

"This terrorist attack targets Egypt and its stability," OIC Secretary General Iyad Ameen Madani said.

He reiterated his organization's stance against terrorism in all its forms, calling for joining forces among all member states to combat this threat
