The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Iyad Ameen Madani has condemned the suicide attack on a UN peace keepers camp of MINUSMA in Ansongo, northern Mali, resulting in the death of three civilians and the injuring of over a dozen people including nine peace keepers from the Republic of Niger.

The OIC Chief appealed to all Malian parties to be fully involved in the Algiers peace process; and to exert their utmost to move it forwards.
