The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Head Iyad Ameen Madani has congratulated Beji Caid Essebsi on Tunisia's presidential win.
In a congratulatory cable, Madani underlined the organization was ready to support Tunisia which became a role model for developing political work and institutions.
In the cable, the organization hoped Tunisia continued backing joint Islamic work for the best interests of the Islamic nation.
Madani hoped success for Essebsi in assuming the duties of his post and overcoming the challenges that face his country.
