Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Iyad Madani paid tribute to Jordan's efforts in protecting Islamic places including Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, Islam's third most holy site, in Jerusalem, the OIC said in a statement.
Madani made his comments at a meeting with Hayel Dawood, Jordan's Minister of Awqaf ( Religious Endowment).
