Organization of the islamic cooperation

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) asserted on Sunday the principle of non-interference in the domestic affairs of its member states.

The pan-Islamic body, in a statement carried by the IINA news agency, reiterated a principle of its charter that all member states are sovereign.

The principle has been maintained by the OIC since its establishment in 1969, said the statement.

All members are equal in rights and duties, it made clear.
