Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary-General Iyad Ameen Madani welcomed the success of the parliamentary and municipal elections, recently held in Bahrain in an atmosphere of security, stability and massive participation.
Mr. Madani expressed his confidence that these successful elections would bolster the march of democracy in Bahrain, under the reform project led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, spearhead economic and social development and achieve prosperity and welfare for people.
