The Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Secretary general Iyad Madani voiced support for the Yemeni president's call for holding a national dialogue conference in Riyadh upon approval from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Madani welcomed the efforts exerted by Yemeni president Hadi Mansour to resume dialogue among the Yemeni factions.
He also appreciated GCC efforts to back dialogue in Yemen.
He also reiterated his backing for stability in Yemen, asserting OIC's rejection of Houthis coup against the legitimate authority in Yemen.
