Fighter jets of the Saudi-led coalition on Friday targeted headquarters of the Republican Guard Forces Command in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa.

The airstrikes also targeted a number of military camps of forces loyal to ousted president Ali Abdullah Saleh.

Ground-based anti-aircraft weapons tried to counter the attacking jets that flew at low altitude.
