The House of Representative on Tuesday held its first session at the start of the second convocation of the first legislative term.
Tuesday session was chaired by Speaker Ali Abdel Aal.

At the start of the session, presidential decree 423 of 2016 to call for the convocation of the second legislative term and presidential decree 409 of 2016 on ending the first term have been read. 
Parliament Speaker Ali Abdel Aal said the House will be an invulnerable wall against anyone seeking to destabilize the security and stability of Egypt.

He praised what has been achieved in the first legislative term, pointing out that legislation is the cornerstone for any democratic regime.

Abdel Aal called for resolving the problems of citizens within the framework of the Constitution and through cooperation with the government.

He said the government has been doing its best to remove the obstacles facing citizens.
