Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Tuesday praised the Egyptian supportive stance on the Palestinian cause.
Abbas briefed Fatah Central Committee on results of his recent visit to Egypt and meeting with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The meeting also dealt with the latest political developments of the Palestinian issue.
The Committee stressed that intensive political and diplomatic steps would be maintained to end the Israeli occupation and establish the Palestinian state.
