Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas reiterated his absolute rejection of a Palestinian state with temporary borders, vowing to act decisively against those who promote such an idea.

Abbas was speaking on Thursday during a meeting with Fatah elected members in Nablus, Jenin and Salfit and Qalqilya and Jericho provinces.

The president asserted Fatah's commitment to an independent state with Al Quds (East Jerusalem) as its capital.
