Palestine's Foreign Ministry on Sunday called on the US administration to exercise pressure on Israel to respect international law and international humanitarian law, stop its violations, and assume its responsibilities as an occupying power.
In a statement, the ministry said that the Israeli government insists on stepping up comprehensive aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including occupied Al Quds, and persists in the violation of international law and international humanitarian law through the continued Judaization operations of Al Quds.
Israel also seeks to impose the temporal and spatial division of Al Aqsa Mosque, the Judaization of the old town in Hebron, and the dismemberment of Palestinian towns, as well as field executions as a form of collective punishment, the statement said.
The Israeli policies undermine the two-state solution, the statement added.
The ministry urged the US administration to oblige the Israeli prime minister to stop crimes and violations against the Palestinian people and to respect international law
