Palestinian Ambassador to Egypt Gamal el Shobaki met on Sunday with Egypt's Assistant Foreign Minister for Neighboring Countries Osama el-Magdoub.
During the meeting, Shobaki stressed that the Palestinian leadership is determined to head for the United Nations and the International Criminal Court to solve the Palestinian cause.
He also thanked Egypt for its support for the Palestinian cause at the international forums.
"The two sides discussed the latest developments at the Palestinian and regional levels," according to a statement by the Palestinian Embassy in Cairo.
They also probed issues of mutual concern, the statement added.
