Palestinian Ambassador here Jamal Al Shobaki hailed a decision taken by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for extending the opening of the Egypt-Gaza Rafah terminal for two more days.

Sisi ordered the extension to show solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza and ease their suffering.

The Egyptian authorities re-opened the terminal exceptionally on Saturday.

Egypt had closed the terminal in the aftermath of a terror attack in North Sinai on October 24 that left several army men killed and injured.
