The Palestinian Cabinet in Ramallah on Tuesday strongly condemned Hamas for killing a rival Islamist militant in Gaza.

The Cabinet called on Hamas to respect the law and the citizens' rights, and not to install itself as adversary and sentenced at the same time.

The Cabinet also tasked Attorney General Abdul Ghani Oweiwi to take the necessary legal procedures by launching an investigation and bringing killers to justice.

Hamas security forces killed a Salafi activist in a shoot-out at his Gaza home on Tuesday.
