Palestinian Prime Minister Ramy al Hamdallah said his government is abiding, since its formation, by the directives of President Mahmoud Abbas, which focused on ending division and facilitating the measures of holding presidential and legislative elections.

Chairing the weekly Cabinet meeting in Ramallah on Tuesday, Hamdallah held Hamas movement responsible for the continuation of division and the suffering of Gaza. pointing out that Hamas insisted on putting hurdles on the way of the unity government and refused to allow the employees to head to their offices.

The Cabinet condemned Israeli occupation measures and described them as violation of international law, calling on the international community to compel Israel to respect its commitments toward the Palestinian people and stop aggressions.

It appreciated the decision of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to open a representation office in Ramallah.
