Ambassador of the State of Palestine Taha Abdul-Qader

The Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Taha Abdul-Qader, conveyed greetings from the Palestinian people to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and to the Bahraini people, applauding the Kingdom's supportive stances towards the Palestinian cause.
He said that this brotherly support is not strange from the Bahraini people and leadership represented in His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
This came as the Palestinian Embassy's marking the tenth anniversary of Palestinian leader President Yasser Arafat's martyrdom amidst a large gathering of official and civilians, in addition to the Palestinian community in Bahrain and the Eastern Region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Undersecretary Ministry of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Abdullatif; Dr. Zafir Al-Imran, MP Ahmed Al-Saati; and, Nabil Ajoor and Abdullah Al-Sakran were at the forefront of attendees.
The Palestinian Ambassador saluted the Kingdom of Sweden commending its recognition of the State of Palestine. He urged all European countries to immediately recognise the State of Palestine in line with their positive media and political stances.
The ceremony concluded by playing Palestinian revolutionary songs hailing the late leader President Yasser Arafat, the current Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
