Member of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) Executive Committee Ahmed Qurei praised on Wednesday the role played by Egypt in support of the Palestinian cause.

During a meeting with Egyptian Ambassador to Palestine Wael Attia, Qurei urged the Arab and Islamic countries to shoulder responsibility towards the Palestinian people under the Israeli recurrent attacks on al Quds city and al Aqsa mosque.

The two officials tackled also the latest developments in the Palestinian territories.
