Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Mohamed Hussein hailed the role of Al Azhar and the Egyptian Dar al Ifta in enlightening the Islamic world with the true modest ideology of Islam.

The two Egyptian entities are playing a huge role in entrenching modest thinking in the Arab and Islamic worlds and even the whole world, Hussein told MENA correspondent in an interview.

The Palestinian Iftaa house has always been keen to communicate with Egyptian religious institutions through attending meetings and events in Cairo, he said.

He stressed that Islam is innocent from Daesh and other Takfiri organizations trying to distort the truth about Islam and Muslims.
