The Palestinian National Council (PNC) Chairman Salim Zanoun delayed the council meeting and called for reconciliation among the council's national committee members.

During a press conference Wednesday, he said the council will prepare for another session before the end of 2015.

Concerning the place of the meeting as some factions opposed holding the meeting in Ramallah which is hard to reach, he said the meeting will be in Ramallah.

The PNC has called for holding an emergency meeting in mid September to elect members of the executive committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization after 10 PLO members resigned.
