Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in Cairo Tuesday to participate in meetings of the Arab Peace Initiative Committee and Arab Foreign Ministers.
Abbas will be meeting a number of Egyptian and Arab officials to discuss the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories in the wake of his visits to France and Turkey, Palestinian ambassador to Egypt Jamal Al-Shobaki told reporters.
Abbas is accompanied by member of PLO's Executive Committee Saeb Erekat and intelligence chief Majed Faraj, among others.
