Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas received at his Cairo residence on Wednesday Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh.

They discussed the latest developments in the Palestinian arena and the obstacles put by Israel to impede the political process.

The meeting also dealt with the Jewish settlements in the Palestinian territories and the Israeli aggression on the Palestinians, as well as the issues which will be discussed by the Arab peace initiative committee meeting in Cairo late Wednesday.
