The parliament's deputy speaker Mahmoud el Sherif on Sunday lauded the current visit of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz to Egypt.

Terming the visit as historic, el Sherif also hailed the speech delivered by the Saudi leader before the Egyptian parliament. 

He added that agreement between the Egyptian and Saudi leaderships on a lot of issues is considered a model of compatibility. 

King Salman is on a five-day visit to Egypt, accompanied by a high-profile Saudi delegation.
