Egyptian parliament

Speaker Ali Abdel Aal announced on Monday the formation of the House of Representatives Office consisting of the speaker, the two deputies and six special committees to look into the decree laws issued since the current Constitution was approved in 2014.

The Office is also tasked with the internal statute of the house in line with the provisions of the Constitution.

According to Abdel Aal, five committees of the Office will review about 341 decree laws, while one committee will be in charge of drafting the statute.
