Parliament Speaker Ali Abdel Aal sent a cable of greetings to Ahmed Abul Gheit for being chosen as Arab League secretary general succeeding Nabil el Araby whose term will end in June.

In the cable, Abdel Aal wished Abul Gheit luck in serving the Arab action during the current circumstances in the Arab region.

Abdel Aal also sent another cable to Araby expressing his appreciation to the great role he played and the efforts he exerted during his term in post.
