Parliament Speaker Ali Abdel Aal on Thursday said the parliament appreciates the national role of the armed forces in defending the homeland. 

Speaking within the framework of celebrations marking the 34th anniversary of Sinai Liberation Day, Abdel Aal said the parliament hails all those who took part in such a victory.

The speaker pointed out that the ِِArmed Forces exerted the utmost effort to face terrorists and extremists.
