Candidates running in Egypt's upcoming parliamentary elections should undergo medical examinations in line with a term set by the administrative court Tuesday.
The court stressed the importance that all candidates be in good health.
A lawyer had filed a lawsuit to oblige parliamentary candidates to be medically examined as is the case in many world countries.
The High Election Commission had refused to make such step, which the lawyer saw as a negative decision that should be challenged.
