The US has violated the Egyptian sovereignty after it expressed concern over a preliminary death sentence issued against former president Mohamed Morsi, the Free Egyptians Party said on Tuesday.

In a statement, the party rejected the US interference in the Egyptian domestic affairs.

It also announced respect for all countries which rejected to comment on the Egyptian court ruling.

The party reiterated that the court ruling is not final.

An Egypt court on Saturday sentenced former President Mohamed Morsi and 105 others to death for a mass prison break in 2011 and espionage.
