Deputy President of Umma National Party Mariam al Sadiq al Mahdi urged establishing a bloc between Egypt and Sudan to avoid the dangers of the renaissance Dam of Ethiopia.

In statements to Al Jarida newspaprr, Mahdi urged moving the file in all the Nile Basin States.

It is time to strengthen ties between Cairo and Khartoum in light of the situation in the regional and international arenas with respect to the political, economic and security files, she said.
