Nahdet Masr party called Friday on the High Elections Committee to delay the first phase of the upcoming parliamentary elections for two weeks.
Head of the party Ahmed El Nadhr made the remarks on Friday saying that the first phase of the vote would be full with procedures that need more time to provide equal opportunities for all candidates.
El Nadhr highlighted regulatory challenges that would be faced by political parties during the elections.
Meantime, Conference Party named only two candidates on "For the Love of Egypt" electoral list out of 150 names who will run for the parliament as independents.
