A pedestrian bridge partially collapsed in Qalyoub early Sunday but no casualties were reported.

A speedy truck rammed into the concrete structure of the bridge, causing it to incline and have some of the bridge's metal parts fall on the road underneath, Head of Qalyoub City Tarek Zayed said.

Traffic was slightly disrupted as security forces, in help of municipal officials, were removing fallen pieces off the road.
