Tripoli - Arab Today
A member of the Libyan committee, tasked with drawing up the country's constitution, has resigned over the performance of the constitutional body.
In a statement, Salem Keshlaf said the reason behind his resignation is the committee's approach that is based on the majority principle instead of the compromise one.
He described the work of the constitutional committee as shaky.
The committee has ignored principles of citizenship and equity between all Libyans that constitute the basis for drafting any constitution in any country of the world, he added.
