Peshmerga forces repelled an armed attack by Daesh terrorist group on the Mosul district of Bashiqa on Thursday and killed eight militants, Kurdish forces said.
The militants tried to attack Peshmerga forces deployed in the area and one of them blew himself up before reaching the forces' positions.
The clashes ran for three hours and left one of the Peshmerga forces wounded.
