A Gaza-based group urged on Thursday the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) to form a national unity government.

In a statement, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) called on the PLO to reach a national consensus before forming the new government.

Yesterday, the Palestinian unity government resigned after President Mahmoud Abbas said it was unable to operate in the Gaza Strip due to disputes with Hamas movement.
