Member of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) Executive Committee Ahmed Qurei praised on Wednesday the role played by Egypt in support of the Palestinian cause.

During a meeting with Egyptian Ambassador to Palestine Wael Attia, Qurei urged the Arab and Islamic countries to shoulder responsibility towards the Palestinian people under the Israeli recurrent attacks on al-Quds city and al Aqsa mosque.

The two officials tackled also the latest developments in the Palestinian territories.
