Member of the Palestine Liberation Organization’s Executive Committee Ahmed Qurei warned against the marathon organized by the municipality of Al Quds on Friday.
The Israeli police had closed several main streets and roads in central Al Quds city for the marathon to serve its own story about Al Quds under the Judaization policy, Qurei said in a press release.
The fifth International Jerusalem Marathon kicked off this morning in the city.
