Prime Minister Sherif Ismail on Thursday issued a decision forming a national committee to be entrusted with restoring looted Egyptian funds and assets abroad.

According to the decision, the committee will be led by the Prosecutor General and include 12 legal experts from bodies concerned such as the Illicit Gain Agency, the Ministry of Justice and the State Litigation Authority along with the Foreign Ministry and the Unit on Money Laundering and Financing Terrorism.

The committee will also include representatives from the intelligence service and the Interior Ministry.
