Prime Minster Ibrahim Mahlab issued Friday an order on regulating the work and tasks of the ministry of state for population.
The move aims at raising Egyptians' standards of living through different age groups, and balancing population growth and economic growth rates, which will allow improving welfare of the all citizens in various domains such as education and health.
The ministry will also help the ministries and governmental agencies in redistributing the population geography in a way that could reduce developmental differences in the country for the sake of the national security.
