Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab has urged the Egyptians to unite and stick to Islamic values.
Addressing the 24th conference of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Mahlab said Islam promotes respect for human and animal rights alike.
Islam is against violence, the PM said, stressing it is a religion of building, construction and reform.
He criticized those wearing the cloak of Islam and misinterpreting the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad.
Mahlab also spoke against takfiri and extremist ideologies. He particularly mentioned incidents of burning alive innocent people, stressing such crimes are far from Islam.
He pressed for hard work to build countries.
Hopefully this conference would offer solutions to problems of the Muslim nation and help renew the religious discourse.
