Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab inspected Wednesday the Cairo International Convention Centre where a fire blazed through various buildings.
The premier met with the Civil Defense officials who affirmed that the fire was completely extinguished and measures were taken to ensure it would not re-ignite.
The main conference hall was not affected by the blaze.
An investigation was launched to determine the cause of the fire.
