Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab witnessed Tuesday the signing ceremony of a deal to prepare a study and a general plan of a project to develop the "Golden Triangle of Upper Egypt."
The deal contract was inked between Egypt's Industrial Development Authority (IDA) and Italy's Di Bologna Company.
Mahlab stressed that the Golden Triangle is a national project which will contribute to developing Upper Egypt.
He also asserted that the government pays great attention to this project.
