Egypt's Interior Ministry

Security forces arrested three Muslim Brotherhood cells planning to carry out hostile acts against State facilities and army and police men.

The Interior Ministry received a tip-off that leading MB member Ragb Homsani was promoting for Takfiri ideas and inciting violence against vital State facilities, the ministry said in a statement.

The forces located the cells and raided the place, arresting 11 MB members and seizing five machine-guns, 1 bird shot rifle and 871 bullets.

They confessed of receiving funds from Homsani to attack vital installations and of being trained on making explosives.

They also admitted taking part in a number of attacks against police in Alf Maskn area.
