Security forces in Suez

Security forces arrested on Tuesday a fugitive while hiding at a house in el Arbaeen district in Suez.

Amr M., 41, was sentenced to death in the case known in the media as the "Kerdasa Massacre" in 2013.

All legal procedures were taken and the public prosecution was notified.

After security forces dispersed Rabaa el Adaweya and Nahda sit-in camps on 14 August 2013, Muslim Brotherhood supporters stormed the Kerdasa police station, killing 11 officers.

In September 2013, security forces raided the village to arrest the perpetrators of the police station attack.

Giza's deputy security chief Major General Nabil Farrag was killed during the raid.
