Cairo transportation police arrested a worker with a gasoline jerry can before setting ablaze a train in Ramsis railway station.

In statements to MENA on Monday, Assistant Interior Minister Sayyed Gad Alhaq said the worker, 45, was arrested at the Upper Egypt platform in Ramsis station with a fuel can in his possession.

General Gad Alhaq said the worker is mentally ill and he admitted that unknown person gave him the fuel can to set ablaze the train.

He was referred to prosecution to be interrogated.
