A security source said a police captain was killed while trying to dismantle an explosive charge in al-Haram street.
The source said that Giza bomb disposal experts had received a report on locating a strange object near al-Talbia police station where captain Diyaa Fattouh arrived to the scene to defuse the explosive charge which exploded and killed him.
The source said the experts are still combing the area to make sure that for more charges.
