Director of civil protection department in Sharqiya Ahmed el-Shawdfi dismissed reports published by an online newspaper that two explosive charges were found on Zagazig-Ismalia railway and defused.
In statements Wednesday, he said the department received a report on founding two dubious objects but the bomb disposal experts moved to the scene and discovered the objects were just empty bottles.
He called on the media to be cautious while publishing their news.
